ABOUT APIICC   Welcome Message   - APIICC President   - APIICC Director   Introduction   - Overviews/Background   - Objective   - Brief History   Major Activites   - APEC TEL   - APII Testbed   - TEIN Introduction Objectives Since its establishment in October 1996 as an affiliated organization of the APEC Telecommunications and Information (TEL) Working Group, the APII Cooperation Center has made its efforts to achieve the following goals: enhance cooperation among APEC member economies in telecommunications and information sector; establish an accessible and effective database necessary for operating APEC TEL Meetings; coordinate efforts made by each member economy in order to implement the early establishment of the APII, developing and conducting numerous APII-related projects including the APII Testbeds. Major Activities of APII Cooperation Center include a variety of cooperative works in the APEC TEL Working Group, construction and management of APII Testbed Projects and Trans-Eurasia Information Network (TEIN) Project, etc.
