Information Society
Development Institute) and NICT (National Institute of Information and
Communications Technology,
During the last 3 years,
APII Workshop has played a leading role lively to make information exchanges and
relevant applications on APII Testbeds in this region, mostly initiated by
The APII Workshop
2007, which celebrates KR-JP 10Gbps Launch, will be a good opportunity to
discuss development and collaboration on international Advanced Networks with
following two sessions; ¡®Future Internet¡¯ and ¡®10G applications in APII¡¯, and also
to verify its developments both in qualitative and quantitative aspects by showing
a live tele-surgery demonstration between Korea and Japan by using a bulk of HD
data transfer through KR-JP APII Testbed. I wish that this Workshop will be a good
opportunity to share experience and opportunity to every country which gives
all attention and makes efforts in international Advanced Networks, and to
discuss global cooperation for mutual development.
