This workshop is held simultaneously with the 22nd APAN Meeting in Singapore.
Objectives
- To gather research results of APII testbed
- To discuss the future plan for the next phase of APII testbed
- To promote global collaboration activities for Asia-Pacific Information Infrastructure

Oral and Poster Presentations
We are inviting both oral and poster presentations.
Main themes include, but are not limited to:
(1) Network Technology and Engineering, Network Research
(2) Application Technology, e-Science, Natural Resources, Social Application
(3) Future Plan
(4) Others based on international collaboration
When submitting your paper to the contact office, please indicate your area(s) of paper(s) by filling in the 'Paper Submission Form'.
Important Dates
Extended Abstract submission deadline: Friday, June 23, 2006
Please read the 'Submission details' below, and submit your extended abstract together with the 'Paper Submission Form' before the above deadline.
Paper Acceptance notice: Friday, June 30, 2006
The acceptance will be informed to you by e-mail, if the abstract passes the examination by the program committee.
Invitation Letter for Visa application: Friday, June 30, 2006
Invitation letter for visa applications will be prepared by the secretariat of APAN. For more information, please click here.
It is suggested that you take enough time for your visa application.
Submission Details
Extended Abstract should not exceed 2 x A4 pages. Please be sure to include the following;
- Paper title
- Theme (#1~4 given above)
- Name(s) of author(s) and affiliation(s)
- Please do not forget to attach the Paper Submission Form.
Presentation Material for Oral presentation should be submitted to the contact office in PDF format on or before the 18th of July. Kindly be advised that the files will be uploaded to the APII home page after the workshop.
Proposals for Network demonstration are also welcome.

Venue
National University of Singapore (NUS) is located about 12 km from the city center of Singapore.
The campus is conveniently located, being 30 minutes by car from the airport, served by several bus routes and familiar to taxi drivers.
