| Closing of Korea-China APII Testbed |

Korea-China APII Testbed, which has been operated between CERENT and KISDI, is scheduled to be closed as of September 30, 2007. Since its opening in August. 2004 as a 155Mbps link, the Korea-China APII Testbed has played a pivotal role in establishing foundation for international joint collaborations by promoting information exchange and joint research between the two countries in the field of sophisticated information and science technology. I would like to appreciate researchers both at home and abroad who have actively participated in using the APII Testbed.
The two countries will continue to maintain cooperative relationships in the future and will also do all it can to provide a solid foundation for international joint collaborations among researchers in both countries through international research networks including TEIN2 and others.
