Since then, the link played a pivotal role in facilitating international research collaboration and information exchange between Korea and Singapore. The service was over in December 2004. However, cooperation between two countries will be continued. * Korea-Singapore APII Test-bed Project (since 1999)  - started as ATM circuit between KOREN and SingAREN with 2Mbps in October 1999  - Upgraded to 4Mbps in April 2002  - Upgraded to 6Mbps in January 2003  - Upgraded to 8Mbps SCR, 12Mbps PCR in May 2004  - finished in December 2004
