¢Æ Description of EL WG :
EL WG is formed to promote public health education in Japan, Korea, China using internet II network. Public health is no longer regional issue when international traveling becomes so common. Simple knowledge can prevent major diseases such as SARS, AIDS, and free us from the fear of mouth foot disease and mad cow disease. This WG will try to find ways to share educational opportunities using quality contents whose development requires enormous resources. Medical contents contain rich visuals which require internet II environment. Disseminating public health education contents will be conducted through TEIN based e-learning environment.
¢Æ Milestone for 2005 EL team :
* June 21-23 : Peking School of medicine, International collaboration for the public health education
* June 28-29 : Seoul, Discussion for the roadmap for the International public health education event in fall Presentation at KR-Net conference
* July 5-7 : Stanford university, International collaboration for the e-Learning environment & public health contents development
* August : Kyushu university, possible meeting with our members for the international collaboration in public health education, sharing contents, conducting an international lecture for students in Kr&Jp Japan Society of Educational Technology annual meeting
* September1-2: Core University Meeting at CNU, 4th week Pusan pre APEC conference & KAIME conference
* Nov. or Dec.: Iwate prefecture university, Meeting for public health education (nursing) possible demonstration for international video conferencing in public health education (washing hands) |
